You are only as good as the people that work at your facility so let us take a minute and introduce you to our all-star crew at the Fairfax, VA franchise:
Michael Sharp
Trainer
Michael Sharp is a personal trainer and entrepreneur from Woodbridge, VA. He is also a former George Mason University basketball player who is no stranger to the hard work of speed and agility training having played under former "run and gun" coach Paul Westhead (now with the Seattle Supersonics). With his "never say die" attitude, he also knows what it takes to overcome setbacks in athletics due to injury having bounced back from a total of 3 knee surgeries in the course of 18 months as a collegiate athlete.
Michael also brings a total of 9 years of experience working hand and hand with the juvenile population both as a counselor and probation officer in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. As a youth, Michael was fortunate enough to compete in AAU athletics and high school basketball with such names as Allen Iverson(Denver Nuggets), Joe Smith(Cleveland Cavaliers), and Dre Bly(Denver Broncos). He is exceptionally excited about joining the House of Speed team to have the opportunity to work with other aspiring athletes. His hope is not only to help enhance the abilities of the athlete but to motivate and encourage the one who has failed to realize his/her true potential.
